Stakeholder misalignment is the leading cause of AI project failure after the technical work is done. Sponsors and business owners often have implicit success criteria they have never articulated -- and those criteria frequently contradict each other. Their demo environments are polished, their benchmarks are cherry-picked, and their SLAs are written to minimize their liability. These questions cut through the presentation layer to surface what actually matters for a long-term production relationship.

Due Diligence

2.“What happens to our data if we decide to terminate the contract -- and how long does it take to exit completely?”

Questions to Ask Yourself

Self-reflective questions are the hardest to ask honestly and the most valuable when asked well. AI leadership requires confronting uncomfortable truths about your own biases, knowledge gaps, and the organizational dynamics you are perpetuating. Use these questions in private journaling and before major decisions.

Bias & Assumptions
